I have a Physics background and was in research before founding own start-up early in-career to build Open Source Solutions for customers. In 2008, I joined Microsoft and had various technical roles in the local organization before joining Commercial Software Engineering (now Industry Solutions Engineering) in 2017.
My current job role is a Software Engineering Manager at Microsoft in the Industry Solutions Engineering (ISE) Organization. My teams and I engage with customers to build solutions running in the Microsoft Cloud.
There’s no such thing as cold weather – only the wrong clothing.
In my spare time, I like going for a walk or riding my e-scooter, reading books, painting or being otherwise creative, cooking with my husband, hiking and skiing in winter.
I always loved the combination of art, science and technology. Actually, I was at a crossroads while making my decision which my choice of study will be: Physics or Art. I already had a portfolio of art work portraying different techniques to be submitted to the Fine Arts University of Vienna. However, in the last minute I decided to study Physics Engineering at the Technical University of Vienna because it seemed to be the right decision for me as I was always passionate about understanding the world around me scientifically since I was a small girl. I never regretted this decision and also never stopped being creative and produce some paintings now and then.
